The Day a Simple Sketch Turned Into a Whole New Collection

Yesterday, I found myself at my table, coffee in hand, surrounded by clay, wooden frames, and a myriad of tools. I held onto the hope that today I would finally work like a calm, organized adult.

If you know me, you already know:

That didn’t happen.

Instead of calmly “planning,” I slipped into my natural state—hands covered in clay, hair tousled like I had just battled a seagull, music softly playing in the background. My heart began to drift into that magical creative zone where ideas start to whisper.

And then… something happened.

A small line. A curved shape. Just a tiny little sketch on the corner of my paper. That sketch seemed to look back at me, as if to say, “Okay, Seda, get ready. I’m about to change your entire plan for 2026.”

The moment creativity barged in, threw my to-do list out the window, and declared the beginning of my 2026 Collection.

Inspiration Loves to Mess With Me

People often imagine inspiration as a glamorous, cinematic moment—sunshine, violins playing in the background.

No. For me, inspiration arrives like a mischievous cat. Quiet. Sneaky. It suddenly jumps onto your lap when you least expect it.

This moment unfolded while I was adding texture to one of my nature-inspired frames. My hand moved, the clay curved, and suddenly my brain went:

“Oh… oh no. I know this feeling… something big is coming.”

From one line grew a wing. From that wing, a tiny bird emerged. Then came nature motifs, shadows, sculptural curves…

And suddenly, I found myself talking to myself:

“Seda, this is not just a sketch. This is a whole new collection.”

How One Sketch Became a Whole New World

In just ten minutes, my table transformed into a crime scene of creativity:

• Clay pieces scattered everywhere

• Wood frames piled like a game of Jenga

• Pencils rolling off the table

• Fabric swatches clamoring for attention

• And me, dramatically whispering, “I see the vision… I finally SEE IT!”

  
  

Trees, butterflies, rabbits, birds, foxes, squirrels—nature came alive in my mind. Textures, shadows, curves, and movements… Everything connected. Everything aligned.

Everything seemed to say:

“Seda, this is your new story.”

And honestly? It felt so right.

This collection will be earthy, soulful, elegant, a little whimsical, and fully handmade with natural materials—just the way I love it. Just as I am.

Proof that creative magic and total chaos can exist in the same room — welcome to the birthplace of the 2026 Collection.

What I’m Creating Next

Now my studio looks like the beginning of a museum and the aftermath of a tornado at the same time.

But I’m working on it:

• Sculptural wall pieces with movement

• Wood-and-clay frames for lighting

• Textile patterns for pillows and fabrics

• Small decorative pieces for Etsy
